Psalm 116:5 says, "Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful."
Our God is a God of mercy. He has multitudes of mercies that He wishes to lavish on human beings. His mercy is limitless. The Psalmist David said in Psalm 103:11, "For as the heaven is high above the earth so great is His mercy toward them that fear Him."
